Steven H. Craft, Jr.
Principal
Steven received his B.S. in Professional Geology from Mississippi State University. He is a husband, a father, a family man, and an entrepreneur in the line of his father and grandfather.
Steven’s grandfather, Wyatt E. Craft, was a pioneer in oil and gas, building and running his own small independent oil company. Steven’s father, Steven Craft Sr., followed on a larger scale, founding and operating more than 50 companies under The Craft Companies.
Early in his career, Steven worked side-by-side with his father as a petroleum geologist before stepping into business development and raising capital for wildcat drilling ventures.
After years in that family tradition, Steven felt a growing conviction to follow God — and to steward the gift of faith and the entrepreneurial spirit he had inherited in a new direction. The same grit, faith, and generational vision that built drilling rigs in Mississippi and Alabama would build something different on the Gulf Coast of Florida.
In 2020, Steven founded Lucleon Insurance in Destin, Florida — bringing the Craft legacy forward not by drilling deeper, but by covering what matters most in service to others. From independent oil fields to an independent insurance agency.
